Teaser Tuesday
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:Grab your current read Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

For the second week in a row my teaser comes from a book that is more than 800 pages long - I seem to have an affinity for very long books! Then again, that isn't exactly news to me.The book is The Sweet Far Thing, the third book in the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray, and the teaser comes from page 325:
We're ushered from the hall in a crushing sea of excited people making their last-minute purchases. I try to keep a safe distance from McCleethy, holding fast to my friends' arms.

Wow over 800 pages! I just bought the first in the trilogy and hoping to get it started sometime this summer. Great teaser!

For some reason, this makes me think of The Other Boleyn Girl...maybe the illustration on the cover seems similar? I love 800 page books, though, so it's caught my attention already! Thanks for telling me about a new-to-me author.

Good teaser. I loved this series and in particular this last book. I wish there were more coming.
Read this series and enjoyed it. I liked the 2nd book the best.

I have copies of the first two in this series, but as usual I haven't read them yet. I did share them with my daughter, and she seems to love this series. Your teaser reminded me that I need to go out and get the third book, so thanks!
